Fic: Apparition (2/3)

Dec. 23rd, 2008 | 10:35 am
mood: coldcold
music: Headstones-Cemetery

Title: Apparition (Part 2)
Fandom: Hard Core Logo
Author: Sketch
Pairing: Billy/Joe
Rating: R for language
Summary: What really happened on that night thirteen years ago?
Disclaimer: The plot is mine, the characters are not.
Author’s Note: Second of three parts (Part 1). And only a week later than I originally planned! The first part came to me in a nice cohesive whole, and all I had to do was write it down. This...this was all pieces and scenes and trying to arrange them in the right order, and it ended up being 1500 words longer than I had planned on. Ugh. Billy and Joe are uncooperative, big surprise. Unbeta'd.

-------

And yeah, so he's a forty-seven year old man acting like a four year old child, but that's ok, because this? This is a Special Circumstance. )

Fic: Apparition (1/3)

Dec. 10th, 2008 | 11:51 am
mood: curiouscurious
music: Headstones-Blonde and Blue

Title: Apparition (Part 1)
Fandom: Hard Core Logo
Author: Sketch
Pairing: Billy/Joe
Rating: R? Strong language and some strong deeds to go with them. Maybe a little NC-17.
Summary: Thirteen years on, Billy visits Joe's grave and is surprised by what he finds.
Disclaimer: The plot is mine, the characters are not.
Author’s Note: First of three parts, inspired by the whole HCL2 thing I've been hearing about. No spoilers for the sequel (are there spoilers available for that? Something about a castle?), but yeah, this will ruin the end of the first movie for you. But really, you should've watched the movie already because it's fucking brilliant, no lie. And it's up on youtube, so there are really no excuses. Unbeta'd.

-------

He could tell the exact second when the tiny punks recognized him, when he went from Random Old Dude to Fucking Billy Tallent, Sellout and Cause of Joe the Amazing Dick's Suicide. )

Fic: Tonight

Jan. 30th, 2007 | 01:57 am
mood: tiredit's late
music: something bubblegum in the background

Title: Tonight
Fandom: Torchwood
Author: Sketch
Pairing: Owen/Tosh
Rating: PG
Summary: Quick bit of conversation after a Torchwood day. Pre-series.
Disclaimer: Mine til the end of the world. Which was about a month ago, unfortunately.
Author’s Note: Written for the [info]tw_wotd_fic prompt gadabout \GAD-uh-bout\, noun: Someone who roams about in search of amusement or social activity.
-------

There’s something almost like pleading in his eyes, and while she knows Ianto or Jack would relish this little sign of Owen’s vulnerability, she doesn’t need to see it to know it’s there. )

Repost: Fic: Permafrost

Dec. 16th, 2006 | 01:29 pm
mood: amusedamused
music: KT Tunstall-Suddenly I See

Title: Permafrost
Fandom: Torchwood
Author: Sketch
Rating: PG? It’s all angst, no follow through.
Summary: Jack. Thoughts. Maybe not the best combination.
Disclaimer: Not mine. Sadly.
Author’s Note: Written for the [info]tw_wotd_fic prompt ossify (1. To change into bone; to become bony. 2. To become hardened or set in a rigidly conventional pattern). And also, my first Torchwood fic. After I promised myself I wouldn't get into this fandom...*sigh*.

Fic: Scars

Dec. 16th, 2006 | 01:14 pm
mood: hopefulhopeful
music: Something Christmas-y

Title: Scars
Fandom: Torchwood
Author: Sketch
Pairing: Jack/Gwen, but not shippy
Rating: PG for naked people but no action.
Summary: Gwen contemplates Jack’s scars, physical and otherwise.
Disclaimer: If I owned Torchwood, I wouldn’t have to sit around and write fic.
Notes: Only my second Torchwood fic. So far, I’m finding my Jack to be extremely angry and depressed. I may need to go buy him some Prozac before I write anymore.
-------

They’re lying in bed, Gwen starting to doze off and Jack indulging her by lying still. )

Fic: The Way It Didn't Happen

Jun. 5th, 2006 | 12:06 am
mood: tiredtired
music: Stars-Tonight

Title: The Way It Didn't Happen (1/?)
Author: Sketch
Pairing: House/Wilson focus (strong friendship, slash potential-we'll see how it goes)
Rating: PG
Summary: The title pretty much covers it. What if Wilson had been there at the beginning of 'No Reason'?
Warnings: Obviously, spoilers for the beginning of 'No Reason.'
Disclaimer: Ah, if you saw where I worked you would understand exactly how very much I don't own House.
Notes: Yes, I'm aware that I'm a bit late to the post-'No Reason' fic party and there are already several excellent stories out there. On the other hand, I haven't seen anything quite like this, so I'm semi-confident. If there's interest in this story then the next part should be up by the end of the week, barring any problems in real life.

The man stood above him, grinning. Mid forties, balding, beady eyes, soul patch. Dear god, House thought to himself, he was going to be killed by a man with a soul patch. )

Fic: Green

May. 30th, 2006 | 02:48 pm
mood: awakeawake
music: Goo Goo Dolls-All Eyes On Me

Title: Green
Author: Sketch
Pairing: Gen
Rating: PG
Summary: Chase interrupts House while he's at lunch; House snarks and contemplates.
Disclaimer: Despite my most evil machinations, I still don't own House, etc.
Notes: Short. House and Chase...well, not exactly friendship, but semi-polite interaction piece. Also, I'd like to apologize to any Australians in advance, because I've never been there and had no idea how to make Chase talk. And also for the kangaroo thing.

'It's so bloody green here!' )

music: Death Cab for Cutie-Passenger Seat

Title: Five Drabbles in which James Wilson is Most Definitely an Oncologist (and also Sleeping with Greg House)
Author: Sketch
Pairing: House/Wilson
Rating: PG-13 (for sex and really bad puns)
Word Count: 100 each
Summary: House and Wilson and Wilson's pager, oh my.
Disclaimer: House and Wilson aren't mine. *pout*
Notes: Not. Deep. :D Just some light, shippy drabbles. Set around 'Safe,' just because.

Their relationship is two parts immaturity and one part lust. )

Fic: Wash and Dry

mood: depressedsad about doctor who
music: Gomez-Cry On Demand

Title: Wash and Dry
Author: Sketch
Pairing: House/Wilson and Wilson/Julie (both implied)
Rating: G
Summary: He remembered Cuddy telling him, he remembered her face, Cameron’s tears, Julie’s hand in his. Chase’s stoicism finally breaking and Foreman without anything to say. John House carrying his own son’s casket.
Disclaimer: I own none of the characters but all of the angst.
Notes: Just a quick, sad piece.

'Could you empty the dishwasher when you get a chance?' Julie had asked him after dinner. )

Fic: Quitter

May. 15th, 2006 | 12:59 am
mood: awakeawake
music: Magnet-Hold On

Title: Quitter
Author/Artist: Sketch
Pairing: House and Wilson friendship
Rating: PG-13
Summary: House finds out about Wilson’s hidden addiction.
Disclaimer: It’s a darn fine shame, but House ain’t mine. Also, the film House and Wilson are watching in the first scene is “Dressed to Kill” (1946) and it also doesn’t belong to me, but rather to it’s creators.
Notes: Honestly, I don’t like how this turned out. It’s not the plotline that I liked for this prompt. Unfortunately I had some major issues with the plotline I did like, so that story isn’t finished yet. And so there’s this story instead.
Concrit appreciated.
It was really a blessing that Julie left Wilson, House thought as he watched his friend. )
